Your Role
The New Product Development and Implementation Manager will be accountable for both further expanding the new product development framework and capabilities, as well as building the product implementation function from the ground up.
Helping to set the direction, culture, and focus for the product implementation team and support key strategic decisions, you will be responsible for delivering strategic planning and operations capabilities to enable commercial excellence and serve as the glue between the new product development team and its cross-functional partners.
You will help establish a Product Source of Truth that enables the downstream partners, including but not limited to the growth, operations and clinical team to achieve strong performance and ambitious growth targets. This role will also serve as the internal subject matter expert around Firefly’s product portfolio.
You will:
- Build and deploy the New Product Source of Truth for enhanced information sharing of Firefly’s products with cross-functional partners, including market overviews, product suite information, and more
- Document and deploy product decisions and changes and share out with the team
- Responsible for cross-functional implementation of Firefly’s New Product portfolio
- Lead New Product readiness efforts to ensure smooth product launch into the market, as well as working across the organization to ensure the broader success of the product including but not limited to partnering with Sales, Marketing, Network, Clinical, Product, and Operations teams
- Assist with developing marketing collateral (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, customer testimonials, thought leadership pieces, etc.) to support new and existing business needs
- Liaise between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations as a voice of market feedback to tailor product offering and implementation processes accordingly
- Other duties as assigned
You’d be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years in the healthcare industry
- 2+ years in benefits administration or operations
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing cross-functional processes
- Exceptional process management and communication skills
- Familiarity with early start-up environment; able to move forward in sometimes ambiguous situations with a clear plan of action and next steps
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build credible and strong relationships
