Your role:

The Pricing and Growth Specialist will be accountable for several functions including but not limited to: building out the deals desk process flow and working with our external partners to price products and generate growth, building pricing and benefit materials for our distribution and customer success teams, and assisting in new market and new product development. Reporting to the Benefits and Actuarial Lead, this role will be an integral member of the New Product Development Team.

This person will also provide a critical role in Firefly’s payer alignment strategy, helping to drive new opportunities while also assisting in the day-to-day management of our current carrier partners. In addition to great critical thinking skills, this person will have a strong analytical background and will develop pricing and benefit models using large data sets.

You will:

  • Drive day to day management of pricing function of our current product portfolio, working alongside our external vendors, Product, Sales, Legal, Operations, and Customer Success teams
  • Develop and execute a tactical plan and workflow for pricing new product offerings
  • Assist with the planning and execution of new market development and inform Firefly’s market expansion strategy
  • Assist with developing sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, benefit, and pricing grids) to support new and existing business needs
  • Build analytical models to inform new market development opportunities
  • Assist in new product development and researching and building new benefit design
  • Research and deliver materials to support Firefly’s carrier alignment strategy and current carrier partners

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years in the healthcare industry
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Familiarity with early start-up environment; able to move forward in sometimes ambiguous situations with a clear plan of action and next steps
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to develop materials for company-wide use
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present pricing structures and scenarios in a clear and concise way.
  • Ideal, but not required -- experience in pricing health plan products
