Account Manager - VC funded start-up

The Electric Car Scheme helps people switch to electric cars. We set up salary sacrifice schemes for small businesses to allow their employees access to electric cars in the cheapest way possible. Employees can save 30%- 60% on any electric car by leasing it through their employer - paying out of their salary before tax.

The UK government is supporting the switch to electric by providing these tax incentives. The Electric Car Scheme makes it hassle-free, risk-free, and cost-free for small businesses to pass on these savings to their employees.

In short, we do for electric cars what the ‘Cycle to Work Scheme’ did for bicycles.

The Role
You’ll be one of the first people to join the company. Working directly with the founders you’ll play a key role in building up the businesses from its early initial customer base to a well run, scaled operation.

You will:

• Engage with our business customers to roll out the benefit to their employees through webinars, events and more
• Engage with, and sign-up employees of businesses setup on the Electric Car Scheme -- working with them to select a car, find the best deals available, and walk them through the benefits on the scheme to close car orders
• Be the main point of contact for those customers through the process, and take care of them from quote, to order, through to delivery and beyond
• Manage the documentation and contracting required to get their car ordered
• Work with car brokers to secure and book in these orders
• Be the first point of contact for any queries our customers have
• Run engagement sessions to maximise employee sign-up
• In general, provide 5-star customer service!
