*What You’ll Do
*

We are looking for a Product Manager to build, optimize and strategically develop the product into private beta beginning of 2022, through launch, and beyond.

As Elsewhere’s product lead, you'll create a roadmap for the creation of a dual sided system allowing publishers, brands and users to create and share city lists and content about where to go. You'll use the best modern engineering and data technologies to code a frictionless path and smooth contribution flow around figuring out where to go, based on brand, publisher and user recommendations. We will look forward to monetizing content and personalizing the consumer journey shortly after product launch (wi year).

Own all product development + user testing

Create a smooth contribution flow for both publishers and creators

Maintain and develop our product pipeline

Work closely with Engineering to develop APIs for publisher and user platforms

Bring wireframes to life as consistent, on-brand, performant, mobile-first responsive user-facing code

Quickly remove roadblocks to shipping and executing

Inspire and support your team to drive meaningful results for the business

Run implementation of web platform

*Experience
*

Experience with web and mobile analytics, SEO and other measurement best practices

Understanding of growth mechanics within a network user funnel

Experience with map content or map platforms

Solid UX / UI experience with the ability to consistently implement our existing designs system / style guide

A builder and a manager. We're at the stage where everyone is rolling up the sleeves and getting deep in the details

Pragmatism with technology + the ability to balance the needs of speed/iteration with resilience/scalability

Someone okay to roll with the punches — as projects and priorities might shift

Past experience in small, early startup environments strongly preferred

Past experience with growth mechanics and a dual sided platform for content creation

2+ years Javascript/Typescript professional experience

Experience in the travel space

Familiarity with nodejs and frameworks such as nestjs on the backend

Familiarity with React/React Native is a plus

Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, React testing library)

Strong collaboration desires and skills

Customer focus with an interest in using the products you build

Resourcefulness that drives results

Familiarity with mobile deployment tools is a plus
