What to expect?

• Modernize an industry: help us build an API for the court system to get everyone off paper
• Build the first "tele-law" platform to enable every independent lawyer to find and support new clients online, while becoming more productive
• Build scalable and automated systems that can handle hundreds of thousands of disputes per month
• Help create the culture of the company and mentor new engineers / interns
• Own the services you build from start to finish (design, launch, monitoring, impact)
• Tackle exciting challenges as the business scales to new use cases
• Define an intelligent settlement prediction tool that allows judgements to be made quickly using previous disputes
• Dynamic templating system to enable operations to map local regulations to new web/client pages that collect the right information for thousands of county jurisdictions.
• Scalable customer support automation or bots that help give people confidence through a stressful process without overwhelming our team
• Help other teams scale their impact with technology (operations, sales, support)
• Help drive the product strategy with your technical and product sense
• Build / buy the right engineering tools we need to 10x the speed and impact of our team

Requirements

• Be able to develop a website and services using modern technologies (Next.js, React, Node.js, etc..)
• Strong system design and infrastructure knowledge
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong communication with cross functional partners
• Manage project tasks and deadlines
• Optionally, have people management / TLM experience to grow scope with the company
