Senior Frontend Engineer

Description
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is excited by technologies and the opportunity to build, maintain and extend existing code for our marketing insight platform. You will be part of an international dynamic agile team contributing to its planned goals. You will work closely with other engineers and engineering teams, programmers, designers, and product owners.

Role and responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of a set of newly developed products using cutting-edge technologies
• Build, maintain, and ship new features using ReactJS/Redux with scalability and performance in mind
• Design efficient and scalable solutions in a micro frontend architecture
• Write Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability while covering edge case scenarios (Experience with Cypress is plus)
• Be responsible for monitoring and alerting of your services using monitoring tools like New Relic and Grafana
• Conduct code reviews and participate in team internal and cross-team technical discussions
• Adhere to best practices like Unit Testing, Integration Testing, TDD, Technical Documentation, Continuous Deployment
• Work with agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) and think in small product increments
• Opportunity of working as a fullstack engineer.

Requirements
Functional Experience
• You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in frontend related technologies
• A significant experience with ReactJS
Languages
• English (Fluent: Spoken and Written)
• German is nice to have but not mandatory at all
Preferred skills
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, ES6 and ReactJS
• Good knowledge of CSS, LESS and/or SASS
• Experience with store management libraries (Redux, immutable.js, …)
• Understanding of bundling tools (e.g. Webpack)
• You have strong interest in maintainability and clean code, OO principles and design patterns
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries to cover Unit Testing and UI Integration Testing (e.g. Jest, Cypress)
• You prefer working in teams, you share your knowledge, and you grow by listening to others' feedback
• Motivated to work with best-practice agile development methods in a cross-platform team
• Interest in full stack development using Java is a plus.
