About the job

Full time | Location: Newton, MA
As Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will work in partnership with the Greater Boston Regional Director and our National Director of Marketing to achieve our marketing and sales goals in the Greater Boston area. You will leverage national marketing campaigns to generate leads with potential school partners, and then support the sales process by conducting research, drafting proposals, and managing opportunities in Hubspot. You will increase awareness among parents of our STEM classes and camps by attending camp fairs, generating local social media, producing collateral, and conducting local PR. The ideal candidate will have successfully worked in sales and marketing, and will be adept at managing several competing priorities simultaneously. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and highly personable team player, who has a passion for education, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of young people.

About Empow Studios
At Empow Studios, we educate children ages 7-17 in coding, engineering, and digital arts with a focus on fun, discovery, and building a life-long passion in STEM. We have won more awards for excellence, and offer more programs, in more locations, than any other STEM education provider in Massachusetts.

Through our regional offices, we provide:

  • STEM summer camps at 20 locations across Massachusetts
  • School-year STEM classes for students after school, on weekends, and during school breaks both directly and through partnerships, in more than 50 locations in Massachusetts
  • Support to private and public schools that enable them to provide high quality STEM programs to their students using our instructors, curriculum, and/or technology

In this role, you will report to the Greater Boston Regional Director who was formerly VP Sales for two national education and youth-focused companies. You will work closely with our National Director of Marketing who previously led marketing at two nationally recognized educator sector companies, and you will be an integral part of the Greater Boston team which includes dozens of teachers.
