ICS Cybersecurity Engineer

You will be working with our world-leading scientists and engineers to develop an innovative, automated binary analysis product (funded by the Navy, DHS and others). You will write proofs of concept for extracting firmware/software from ICS/embedded systems, and analyzing those devices for vulnerabilities

Job Requirements:

• provide technical direction and act as a subject matter expert as it relates to cybersecurity in industrial control systems
• hands-on ability and experience to connect to a wide range of ICS devices and connect firmware/software
• technically evaluate cybersecurity technologies and provide feasibility assessments
• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Research, design and implement prototypes and tools for extracting firmware/software from ICS/embedded devices
• Preferably also experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53r4, NISTIR 7628

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Information Security experience
• At least 5 years of experience working with industrial control systems (ICS) in some form BS in Computer Science or equivalent desired
• Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. You will need to be able to produce technical reports to the customer about your work.
• Excellent leadership skills and teamwork skills. You will be working with the cybersecurity and engineering teams to build the product.
• Eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen or permanent resident; proper documentation is required. - Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen. Must be US based
