Senior Circuit Design Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:
-Participate in design and implementation of high-speed LED drivers and high bandwidth optical receivers
-LED and optical receiver testing
-Participate in all aspects of product testing within the manufacturing environment
-Partner with contract manufacturer to monitor, measure and work to continuously improve production yields. Develop and optimize the debugging approach. Identify and realize regular efficiency improvement.
-Partner with software engineers, develop testing technologies and systems to support component and technology developments, including definitions, designs, implementations, and verifications.

Required Qualifications:
-Having knowledge of modern FPGA and microcontroller architectures
– 3-5 years experience in the industry as embedded system engineer
-Experience in high-speed digital and analog circuits design
-Experience in hardware/software co-design and proper partitioning of an application over software and hardware
-Experience in using embedded peripherals such as embedded Ethernet interfaces/USB interfaces
-Experience in using MIPS/ARM microcontrollers
-Experience in developing PCB layout
-General skills include proficiency with Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal theory at a discrete level in support of circuit design.
-Solid understanding of software design and debugging.

Desired Requirements:
-Experienced in product development
-Experience of working at or with a Contract Manufacturer.
-Experience with LabView/TestStand, Matlab
-Strong technical documentation skills including test requirements and test plan development.
