We currently seek a Sr. Software Engineer / Developer to join our team!

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, working independently on projects while reporting directly to the CTO. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

This position may be remote, with preference given to those in Las Vegas or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Required Skill Sets

• Web frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot)
• Java
• MVC development pattern
• Service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST)
• API Integration
• Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
• Markup languages like XML and JSON
• Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and patterns
• Webhooks
• AWS
• DynamoDB or other nosql databases
• MySQL or SQL Server
• Responsive design
• Multithreading and synchronization

• eCommerce experience

• Nice to Have

• BigCommerce & Shopify API Experience
