Backend Engineer ( NodeJs )

What you'll be doing

Most of your day will be dedicated to software design, research, and coding. On typical projects, you will have a lot of freedom and you will be paired with another team member. Most of the time you'll be working directly with our tech lead and take technical decisions together.
You'll be helping in building and maintaining a wide backend infrastructure of Kiot. Your work will range from writing APIs to Deployments and Designing new Systems. You'll be working on many cutting edge technologies.

What are we looking for?

• 2 + years of experience working as a full-stack/backend developer
• Ability to write high-quality and scalable code
• Deep understanding of Javascript and NodeJs
• Solid experience with MongoDB
• Good understanding of design patterns and system design
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Understanding of frontend technologies and how web applications work

What we would appreciate

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Aws
• Solid experience with Typescript
• In-Depth Knowledge of MongoDB, Indexing, Query Optimizations, Aggregations etc.
• Experience in production deployments is a plus
• Understanding of testing frameworks like Chai, Mocha or Jest
• Understanding of frontend technologies and how web applications work
• Zeal to solve difficult problems and a never giving up attitude
• Strong passion for changing lives with technology
• Out of the box thinking
