PHP Software Developer

Job description

You'll be working with a small team (2 associate developers) from India to maintain and improve a PHP solution of a US based security devices company by collaborating with their team (2 senior developers). Possibility (not a necessity) of eventually working on another solution based on Node/Angular tech stack based on performance and experience. There is also a possibility of working with the client for 1-3 months in the US.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand the product requirements
• Write well-designed, good quality well documented code
• Document and create software functionality
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Improve system quality by identifying issues, inefficient code and common patterns
• Update the associated manager regarding the progress made as per company standards

Prerequisites

• Willing to relocate to Vizag, Andhra Pradesh (Post Pandemic)
• Good Communication - Verbal and Written
• Good knowledge & experience with the following
• PHP
• MySQL
• Commendable understanding about standard SQL databases
• Familiarity with collaborative programming (Git) & working in teams
• Ability to understand the functioning of a product and comprehend possible solutions
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies & approaches as required
