About the job
Clover Home is looking for a Director of Transaction Management to help build and manage the transaction management for a growing real estate brokerage. Clover Home is a tech startup in the real estate space and will soon be handling a large volume of buyer and seller transactions. This role will include handling transaction management on a small scale to start (2-4) transactions/month and building a system to scale volume quickly. Ultimately you will be managing a team of transaction managers, but you first need to build the systems and your team.
The ideal candidate for this role is a leader with great communication skills, incredibly tech-savvy, and capable of pivoting quickly. You must have an insane amount of attention to detail, capable of juggling multiple tasks at once with speed and efficiency behind a computer. This candidate should be willing to take a risk with a start-up for the reward of being an early employee before the company scales. You will have access to stock options before a series A funding round.
You should apply for this position if:
- You have experience with real estate transaction management in Colorado. Bonus points are given if you are a licensed real estate agent and have sales experience. You will be able to continue selling if you wish, in fact, it is preferred as we believe you will be better for it. No commission splits either. We are not into that. You keep 100% of what you sell.
- You enjoy working in a tech space with a small team of innovators who want to disrupt the old curmudgeon model of real estate.
- You value high risk and high reward.
You should not apply for this position if:
- Reading everything above was not exciting to you.
- You value the comfort and security of a salary more than the opportunity of investing your time and energy into a growing company that will reward you 10-fold if you help the company succeeded.
- You are not a problem solver. If you like having a set list of objectives to complete and then go home for the day, this job is not for you. You must be a self-starter, capable of identifying problems and creating creative solutions without anybody holding your hand.
- You need the security of salary and benefits.
- Think for a second, when was the last time someone asked or expected you to do something, and you didn’t follow through? If you just thought of multiple things, please don’t apply for this job.
- If you think you have high attention to detail, but you have not picked up a single spelling or grammar issue with the job posting so far.
More about this Job:
If you have not figured it out yet, this is not your typical transaction manager position with a traditional real estate brokerage. The likely candidate for this position will be navigating the thick and thin with the founders of consumer-facing – tech first – real estate brokerage. We are building a variety of systems and technology for consumers to provide options to home buyers and sellers. We have an immediate need for transaction management, and you will be expected to jump in picking up transactions where they were left off. You will have a variety of titles at the beginning ranging from Assistant to Transaction Coordinator. Sometimes you might be referred to as the transaction management team and be expected to solve the problems that would normally require a team to tackle. Ideally, you will help the company scale and you will develop your own role as Director of Transaction Management where you will be managing a department providing the world’s best real estate customer service. You need to be fluent in CTM eContracts, RE Colorado, and Realist. You must be coachable and a quick learner with new computer systems and tech platforms. You will be expected to know how to use a computer quickly and have the ability to take direction over the phone while navigating client files. It is prefered that you can come into the office in Littleton at least once a week.
