Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build applications, middleware, and databases for a variety of needs such as finance, operations, compliance, marketing and technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience and demonstrated proficiency in (Advanced to Expert level) in relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• 5+ years experience and demonstrated proficiency in (Advanced to Expert level) selected programming languages (e.g. C#, VB.Net, JavaScript)
• Some experience and Intermediate level proficiency in other languages and platforms (e.g. node.js, React, Angular)
• Desire and ability to lead and mentor other engineers
• BS/BA in Computer Science or a related degree

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture by producing clean, commented, tested, efficient code
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
• Perform code reviews
• 80% development/20% leadership
