Technical Lead Engineer

VLNComm is a leading company in Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology, which is an alternative data communication technique for wireless applications that uses optical energy to provide simultaneously lighting needs and data transmission. This technology uses LED bulbs to provide wireless internet access for users and transmits data using the lighting systems that are already in place for the illumination of indoor environments.

Responsibilities of the Technical Lead Engineer:
- Lead & own the process of VLC prototype design and implementation.
- Work with a small, collaborative team using cutting-edge technology
- Lead the design and test of FPGA-based digital signal processing
- Manpower estimation, work planning / forecast and effective utilization of manpower, progress.


Requirements:
- Strong background and experience in FPGA/ASIC design in Verilog.
- Experienced with FPGA design tools
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (Fresh graduates of any degree with less than 3 years of industrial experience will not be considered.)
- Experience with coding and verification of digital signal processing designs required
- Experience with embedded software and embedded processors
- Working knowledge of protocol standards such as AXI, I2C, SPI, USB, PCI/PCIe
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Very detail oriented and thorough


Preferences:
- Experience in designing telecommunication or wireless network products
- Experience in designing high-speed circuits
