Software Engineer (NodeJS)

Role:

Scalenut is looking to hire Node.js Engineers responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. It’s an opportunity to build a large global brand for professional services and completely redefine how work is done today.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with leadership and product teams to provide the solution to and implement business requirements
• Write robust server side logic
• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes(MySQL/MongoDB)
• Implementation of security and data protection

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Education and Experience

• Tier 1 / 2 college Engineering Degree (Preferred, not mandatory)
• 1-3 years of experience
• Experience in a startup is a plus
