Software Engineer (ReactJS)

Role:

Scalenut is looking to hire React.js Engineers responsible for developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). It’s an opportunity to build a large global brand for professional services and completely redefine how work is done today.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with leadership and product teams to provide the solution to and implement business requirements
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JS object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Education and Experience

• Tier 1 / 2 college Engineering Degree (Preferred, not mandatory)
• 1-3 years of experience
• Experience in a startup is a plus
