CTO

Fermata is an agritech startup that delivers AI-based solutions for greenhouses in Europe and worldwide. Our product uses both visual and climate data to achieve the highest quality of prediction and provide all the necessary information for agronomists.

Right now Fermata is rapidly growing and exploring new markets.

We are looking for a CTO who will be responsible for building the software development team, developing our core technologies in machine learning, hardware selection and integration, installation and integration, building integrated ML systems, providing stable operation in production, and delivering clear business value for our clients.

Main responsibilities:

⁃ Building and managing the core software development team
⁃ Coordination of inner teams’ work and outsource development
⁃ Design of scalable system’s architecture including software and hardware
⁃ Building, maintaining and updating infrastructure based on MLOps principles
⁃ Customer interaction for refining business needs and transformation of this knowledge
into solutions
⁃ Continuous improvement of product’s technologies

Experience:

⁃ Leading of product development and support of stable operation in production
⁃ Team building and management
⁃ Deep expertise in machine learning, specifically in statistics, computer vision, neural
networks
⁃ Extensive practice of building and maintaining ML systems
