We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and savvy Digital Marketing Assistant to nurture & build our online presence, deploy & scale our platform acquisition program.
You will be working closely with the CEO; who has over twenty years’ experience in growth marketing, digital, social marketing & customer acquisition, in the production of all marketing-related tasks. You will have an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills, and be able to work independently to strict deadlines.
We’re a creative, inventive technology start-up at the forefront of spatial computing technology, so you’ll never be starved for incredible things to discuss, create and promote. This also means that you’ll need to be highly motivated, outcome-focused, multi-skilled and comfortable working independently.
Specific duties
On a daily basis, you’ll be pro-actively nurturing our professional and social networks, writing content and engaging the market with our unique story, including:
- Content marketing
- Case studies
- Website updates
- Social engagement
- Market research
- Video content (in conjunction with our in-house video team)
- Virtual events & tradeshows (in VR, not just “zoom”)
- Email campaigns
- Campaign reports
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver high impact content & communications showcasing Start Beyond’s capabilities
- Develop & implement customer acquisition strategies
- Manage content delivery across key digital channels, including website, social media, email, videos, webinars, blog posts and podcasts
- Work with 3rd party service providers to manage campaigns (e.g. PPC)
- Apply SEO and digital marketing best practice in content development and production
- Drive brand awareness and organic growth across owned digital channels
- Implement and enhance the Start Beyond brand voice
- Explore new methods for attracting and converting sales leads
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.
- Measure campaign success and present monthly reports
- Prepare promotional presentations and organising promotional events
- Update databases, spreadsheets, and other ad-hoc duties as required
- Design & publish graphic material production via programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or other)
Role requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and tools
- Proficient in marketing software. We use tools such as Mailchimp, Zapier and Webflow
- Working knowledge of foundation web technology (e.g. Basic HTML)
- Knowledge of CRM tools and online analytics. We use Pipedrive and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of advanced marketing principals
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Proven experience as a marketing assistant
- Outstanding writing skills

Start date: ASAP
Salary is negotiable based on experience and skill level
