About the job
Grey Matter is a social music app with cross-platform streaming integrations and expressive ways to share, discover, and support music. Imagine if Instagram + Sonos had a kid and Reddit + Patreon had a kid and those two kids had a kid.
We’re seeking a growth captain to own community acquisition and retention. We’ve just soft launched onto the app stores after a six-month beta period with a dedicated crew of beta testers. We’ve built a strong technical infrastructure, a robust roadmap, and a dynamic team of invested partners, and our next phase will focus heavily on community growth.
Our ideal candidate has experience building a growth engine for a digital product -- ideally a socially-oriented consumer app -- with the leadership skills to eventually build and lead a team. This person is also invested in a grassroots, community-based ethos and is curious, reliable, humble, and a fierce music lover.
We use:
