Veeve is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) start-up based out of Seattle, WA. Our proprietary technology combines the tactile gratification of in-store shopping with a content-rich online experience through its innovative smart cart technology. Veeve (veeve.io) uses machine learning, sensor technology, machine vision and artificial intelligence to enable large scale visual recognition. Our founding team consists of employees from Amazon and Google with 20+ years of industry experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate documentation of findings and observability throughout the deployment and logistics processes.
  • Utilize Google Sheets to create pricing and estimate sheets, ensuring accuracy and transparency in cost calculations.
  • Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Pitch ideas and proposals to internal stakeholders, clients, and partners, effectively communicating their value and benefits.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee hardware and software deployments, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for deployments, considering factors such as resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Efficiently manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize deployment processes.
  • Generate daily reports to track the progress of deployments, monitor key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate regular sync-up meetings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and align on deployment strategies.
  • Manage vendors and sourcing activities, including negotiating contracts, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring reliable partnerships.
  • Coordinate local procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary materials and supplies.
  • Oversee customs and international shipping processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing relationships.
  • Facilitate the customs clearing process, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Software, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role and operations.
  • Proven experience in documentation practices, with the ability to accurately record findings and observability.
  • Proficiency in using Google Sheets for creating pricing and estimate sheets.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reporting methodologies.
  • Ability to pitch ideas and proposals effectively, showcasing their value and benefits.
