Technical Operations Specialist (for US Operations)

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end logistics process for international shipments, specifically from China to the USA and onward to other countries.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the logistics process.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct research and maintain documentation of findings and observability related to logistics operations.
• Utilize Google Sheets to create pricing and estimates for shipments, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Planning and executing deployments of products to various locations, ensuring efficient and smooth execution.
• Collaborate with vendors and sourcing partners to negotiate pricing, establish relationships, and ensure a reliable supply chain for operations.
• Facilitate online purchasing activities, including sourcing products, comparing prices, and coordinating payments through multiple offshore vendors.
• Maintain invoices and oversee payment processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
• Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize logistics operations.
• Prepare and submit daily reports to track the progress of shipments, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Conduct regular sync-up meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and align on logistics strategies.
• Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Software, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in similar role and operations.
• Willing to work on EST or PST time zone.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering, and software principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in documentation practices, with the ability to capture findings and observability accurately.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets for creating pricing and estimate sheets.
• Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reporting methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deployments concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in vendor management and sourcing, with the ability to negotiate pricing and establish partnerships.
• Proficiency in online purchasing platforms and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in invoices and payment maintenance.
• Ability to manage resources efficiently and optimize logistics operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
