Temper was founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs on a relentless mission to fix one of the world's biggest problems: metabolic dysfunction. Nearly 80% of the US population is metabolically unfit with conditions ranging from diabetes to obesity and cardiovascular disease.

For the last 15 years our team has studied at the intersection of minds and machines. From our PhDs in neuroscience, humanoid robotics and chemical engineering to our work in artificial intelligence, therapeutics, and even professional sports we have always worked to improve the human condition with one goal in mind, to give humans the tools they need to be the person they have always aspired to be.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive editorial planning process, managing a robust editorial calendar against key cultural moments, programs, promotions and tent pole events.
• Write, edit, and publish articles, newsletters, monthly challenges and other program materials.
• Help evolve Temper's editorial voice and tone.
• Manage freelance editorial talent and workflow.
• Collaborate with other team members to expand and define content categories on site.
• Partner with clinical and coaching teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with Temper's principles and values for each piece of content.
• Collaborate with key players across the organization for planning, execution and support.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience writing, editing, interviewing and driving content planning.
• Editorial experience running content for a publisher or large blog.
• Experience writing for the wellness space and a passion for Temper's mission.
• Expansive network of product, marketing and general copywriting professionals.
• Strong understanding of editorial best practices.
• Strong editorial judgement and an intuitive understanding of brand voice and tone.
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional roles against timely deadlines.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and building the system as you go.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
