Senior Full Stack Developer: React | NodeJS | GraphQL | Rest | MongoDB

Job Description
You will be our senior full stack developer and will be the implementation lead for Tailorbird web apps and the API ecosystem. You will be primarily responsible for server-side business logic and database implementation. Our backend is built using NodeJS with MongoDB as storage. You will closely work with a talented team of front-end designers and web developers and integrate those elements into a highly responsive end-user application. As an early hire in a fast-growing startup, you will have a tremendous opportunity to mentor, grow, and lead your team.

Responsibilities

• Web app application development, principally server side using NodeJS
• Closely working with partners and contractors, you will maintain the overall integrity of the DevOps process
• Onboard and mentor additional team members
• Closely work with key business leaders to understand product roadmaps and continuously evaluate Tailorbird design choices
• Closely work with the data science team to assist them in develop the ML model development and deployment pipeline

Skills and Qualifications

• Over 5+ years of web app development experience, with at 3+ years of NodeJS and framework experience
• NoSQL database experience, prior MongoDB experience highly desired
• 2+ years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
• 2+ years of managing enterprise class applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
  
• Experience leading small teams highly desired
• Consumer focused (B2C) startup experience highly desired
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Basic understanding of SSO, logging, and security best practices
• Demonstratable ability to quickly master new frameworks
