We are a global remote-first organization with operations in New York and Prague. Our stack includes Kotlin with Spring Boot on the backend, React.js and React Native on the front end, AWS, Docker, and GitLab.

You’ll be part of a small engineering team working on our backend and front end to implement features in their full scope.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new features of the RxDiet App & Dashboard.
• Work closely with product stakeholders to understand the company roadmap and prioritize upcoming builds.
• Participate in system design discussions.
• Implement integrations with grocery retailers.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Senior Java/Kotlin + Javascript engineer who can quickly start contributing to our codebase.
• Practical experience with Spring, PostgreSQL, building a REST API, and knowledge of HTTPS.
• Practical experience with React.js, and Redux.
• Fluent with Git and experienced in working in an agile software development methodology.
• You successfully own projects and effectively communicate across the organization – ask questions, assume good intentions, and default to transparency.
• You proactively seek feedback from users, teammates, and subject matter experts.
• You can balance speed, complexity, and scope in service of user needs.
