Job Description

Luganodes is seeking a Software Development Engineer-1 with a deep technical proficiency in blockchain infrastructure, specifically experienced in staking, crypto-economic protocols, indexers, and the broader DeFi ecosystem. This role requires an expert who can design, implement, and support advanced blockchain-based solutions, with a focus on optimising performance and ensuring scalability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge blockchain technologies, with a focus on staking protocols, decentralised finance (DeFi) solutions, and crypto-economic mechanisms.
• Lead the integration and development of blockchain indexers and data analytics platforms to support our staking operations and DeFi services.
• Implement and maintain high-performance blockchain infrastructure, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
• Engage with the global blockchain community to stay ahead of the latest developments, adopting and integrating new technologies and improvement proposals into our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute blockchain solutions that align with business objectives.
• Establish best practices for blockchain development and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• Strong background in software development with expertise in systems architecture and blockchain technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Go, Solidity, and Node.js, with a focus on developing high-performance, secure code.
• Extensive experience with blockchain infrastructure components, including nodes, validators, staking mechanisms, and indexers.
• Deep understanding of crypto-economic protocols, smart contracts, and consensus algorithms (e.g., PoS, DPoS).
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols and standards, with the ability to innovate and implement solutions in the staking and broader crypto finance domain.
• Familiarity with blockchain management tools and frameworks, such as Truffle, Hardhat, and web3.js.
• Experience with distributed systems and P2P networking.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and optimise blockchain performance.
