As we continue to grow and disrupt the industry, we are seeking a talented and experienced world-class Vice President of Engineering to drive technical innovation, play a key role in shaping the future of the creator economy, and to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be responsible for building and leading our engineering organization, overseeing the development of our fintech platform, and ensuring that our technology supports the needs of our creators and enterprise partners. Responsibilities:

Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential.

Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the technical vision and strategy for our fintech platform, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and future market trends.

Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing and data teams, to define and deliver high-quality, innovative products and features that meet the needs of our creators and enterprise partners.

Architecture and Scalability: Design and maintain a scalable and robust technology architecture to support our platform's growth, security, and reliability.

Technology Stack: Select and manage the appropriate technology stack, tools, and frameworks to ensure efficient development and product delivery.

Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment to maintain high product quality and security.

Agile Development: Implement agile development methodologies to ensure efficient and iterative product development.

Recruitment: Attract and hire top engineering talent to expand the team as the company grows.

Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the engineering budget, allocate resources effectively, and manage third-party vendors or contractors when necessary.

Compliance and Security: Ensure that the platform complies with relevant regulations and security standards, protecting both user data and financial transactions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Proven experience in a leadership role in software engineering at a venture-backed startup, ideally within fintech, media tech, entertainment tech, or a related industry.

Strong knowledge of fintech, payments, and the creator economy.

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor engineering teams.

Track record of successfully delivering complex software products on time and within budget.

Experience with scalable and reliable technology architecture.

Familiarity with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
