We want top candidates to get the extra attention they deserve - that’s why we’ve launched ‘featured’ on Wellfound.
What does it mean to be featured? How is it different from how I currently use AngelList?
Candidates who are being featured are highlighted separately to startups searching for talent on Wellfound. Startups are assured of the quality and experience of these candidates. As a result, if you're featured, you can expect increased outreach from high-quality startups.
How do I know if I’m eligible? How can I be featured?
At present, we can only feature candidates in certain geographies and roles. In addition, your job search status must be set to ‘ready to interview’ or ‘open to offers’. If you meet these criteria, you'll be able to opt into being featured on our website.

Once you opt into being featured, your profile will be reviewed - if selected, you’ll be notified of next steps. We account for numerous factors such as tenure, skillsets and past projects in our review - this is why it’s crucial to keep your Wellfound profile complete and up to date!
Once you’re selected to be featured, this will be indicated on your profile.

What happens when I start being featured? Do I need to do anything?
While being featured, you can continue browsing and applying to jobs on Wellfound, but you may also see many more messages from startups who are interested in you. Keep in mind the following:
Wellfound only works when candidates take the time to respond, so please ensure you can respond to messages within a week, and make time to interview. If you change your mind about being featured, you can opt-out from your profile settings.

I’ve used A-List before - is this different? What happened to A-List?
A-List is now known as 'featured', and your existing A-List conversations will be copied to the Wellfound website over the coming weeks. You’ll be automatically redirected to Wellfound when this change is complete.
We made this change to keep things simple: having separate A-List and Wellfoound brands and interfaces was confusing for our users. You can still expect the A-List experience, now under a single brand and website: Wellfound›.
