    Q&A
What's the most useful business-related book you've ever read?

The Silk Roads - it's not directly a business book per se, but it tells about the movement of commerce over the last 2000+ years and I think history and the spread of ideas can tell you a lot about the future and how leaders lead.

    What's your favorite non-business book?

Infinite Jest - it's a modern-day War and Peace at around 1000 pages. Incredibly smart, it talks about everything from the future of technology to addiction to family drama to espionage. It's crazy, hard to read, but very rewarding at the end.

What words of advice would you give your younger self?

We created the world today, so we can create any world we want to see in the future.

What's the most creative thing you've ever done?

Paint a street art mural, grow a startup, and (coming soon) build a pyramid for AfrikaBurn.

Which founders or startups do you most admire?

Elon Musk because of his focus on making major moonshot changes to society. Also, anything creative or impact oriented.

    What's your super power?

Building a movement around an idea.

What's the best way for people to get in touch with you?

    Tweet or email me! https://twitter.com/pollock

What words of wisdom do you live by?

"True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us."
    -Socrates

What aspects of your work are you most passionate about?

Culture of the internal organization, inspiration of a brand movement, and the community power coefficent of both.

What was the most impactful class you took in school?

    Psychology, sociology and history.

What's something you wish you had done years earlier?

Learned music production and spent more time on public art.

If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?

    Making more mysterious art.

    What's an obstacle you've overcome?

Moving to San Francisco on zero salary and near-zero net worth while starting my 2nd startup. On 3 days notice we got into the AngelPad accelerator. We packed up and left MN, lived two companies deep (four founders) in a one bedroom apartment for 3 months
