After BioWare was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2008, Muzyka became SVP/Group GM of EA’s BioWare Label, which in 2012 had 8 BioWare studios and ~2000 full-time+part-time staff globally.
He retired from EA in 2012, founding ThresholdImpact to focus on angel/impact investing and entrepreneurial mentorship.
Inducted into the Order of Canada (2018), JA's Alberta Business Hall of Fame (2018), the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences’ Hall of Fame (2011), named a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society (2021), received the IGDA/GDC Choice Awards' Lifetime Achievement Award (2013), UAlberta Alumni's Innovation Award (2015), the Venture Capital Association of Alberta's Rod Charko Service Award (2019), and named as MacEwan University's Allard Chair in Business (2017). Other awards include entry into Canada's Top 40 under 40 and Ernst&Young’s 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year (IT/Prairies).
