IDEA has worked with over 700 concepts from the Northeastern community. We accelerate their development through our business planning stage-gate process, providing the relevant educational and business resources to ventures as they progress through the stages.
In addition to the in-kind resources and support we offer our ventures the opportunity to apply for $10,000 in seed funding to fill an early-stage business gap. To date IDEA has supported 63 ventures with $750,000 in gap funding.
In just 5 years of operation our program has launched 35 ventures that have collectively gone on to raise more than $28 million in external capital.
