Businessman at heart. Developer by schooling. Sell it. Build it. Always bootstrapping.
I've always seen CS as a means to an ends, but not necessarily the core of my passion. As CEO of Jargon, I handled everything from product speccing, hiring, raising money, managing a team, selling product, and iterating as quickly as possible to hit our next milestone. Our product was a full-bodied, enterprise-friendly suite of SDKs, dashboard, and end-to-end service that was sold into the likes of Secret, Dropbox, and Getty Images. We ended up receiving offers at 10x investment and exiting. UPS AND DOWNS and we rolled with the punches. Extremely proud of what we have built and happy to see it live on with Smartling - the leader in localization software.
