1) Filter by remote work preferences

Start your search by defining your preference with our remote jobs filter. Do you want to work for a company that is hybrid or an in-office job? For example, add cities like New York City, Seattle, and San Francisco to the search bar. Are you also to remote jobs in NYC? Add New York City to the Show remote jobs anywhere in section. If your preference is fully remote, toggle the distributed teams only filter to your preferences.

2) Filter by desired salary & equity

Job postings on Wellfound require salary transparency to help you in your job search. Looking for a new role that meets a certain salary criteria? By adding your specific salary range and equity package, you can filter down to roles that will be able to meet those salary expectations. For example, if you're looking for roles offering $150-$200K salaries, you can update your compensation salary, equity, and currency filters.

3) Filter by job types

The job types filter is an easy way to find role types you are looking for and filter by the appropriate level of required experience the job is looking for. The best part? The job types filter has specifically contract roles if you’re looking for more flexible or project based work, internship positions (Tip: toggle the “include jobs with no experience listed” to help with your search), or co-founder positions at early stage tech startups.

4) Search by keywords

Having trouble finding relevant roles with your search parameters? In addition to the Areas of Interest section, try using the keywords filter to narrow your search. For example, if you’re looking for Marketing roles in web3, add “web3” to your keywords filter.

5) Filter by company size and investment stage

Are you searching for your first startup role? Read about startup vs. corporate on the blog and use the company size filter and investment stage filter to narrow your job search. Roles at smaller companies like 1-50 employees may vary greatly from roles at 5000+ employee companies.

6) Use the immigration toggle bar

If you’re looking to work in the U.S. and are currently international, the Immigration filter is a great way to filter to companies that have the availability to sponsor a visa for work. This will save both you and the recruiter time and energy!
