The Plant is a $300M+ historic preservation and adaptive reuse project, turning a former coal-fired power plant that once electrified Grand Central Station into a global home... more for climate solutions. The vast space (1M+ cubic feet) will be configured for startup incubation, co-working, large-scale events, and public art—all with a climate theme. The Plant aims to be the first carbon-negative building in the United States, as designed by the world-renowned architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group.
