Co-founded mimovrste=), the leading on-line retailer in Slovenia, and D.Labs, an agile web development shop that's helping companies not just build a website but build a business on-line.
Served as CEO of both companies from 2006 to 2011, managing growth from combined $5M revenue and 35 employees to $30M+ revenue and 100+ employees. The companies earned accolades for best employer, best fast growing company, best on-line service etc.
The company raised capital from Netretail Holding for international expansion in 2011. Netretail subsequently acquired mimovrste=) in 2012.
Spent majority of 2012 kickstarting the Slovenian startup scene: raised money for an accelerator, created a training program for startups, mentored 100+ entrepreneurs, made a few angel investments.
Currently based in San Francisco working on something new. Still helping entrepreneurs bridge Silicon Valley and South East Europe.
