What's the most useful business-related book you've ever read?
"Creativity, Inc." shows how Pixar created a company culture that cultivates creativity in problem solving instead of stifling it.
What's your favorite non-business book?
"The Vital Question" details the fascinating inner workings of mitochondria and how energy utilization is at the core of the development of complex life.
If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?
Roughly what I'm doing now: exploring ways of making software better able to compound on itself. Via my work with Ink & Switch, I have seen that we are very close to software that is orders of magnitude easier to create.
What words of advice would you give your younger self?
Your mind works against you. Awareness is the only required step for progress; focus your mind to be aware of the things you care about and progress is free. An effective path to awareness of your thoughts is to write them down unfiltered.
What's your super power?
I've been told that I'm able to learn new things quickly. I have an insatiable curiosity to understand how things work.
