Startups are hard. I know because I've started four of them. Two were acquired and two failed. Through this experience, my tool belt has been weathered with the necessary gear and skill sets one needs to be a top operator.
My proudest accomplishment was during my first startup where I wrote a proprietary algorithm that measured enterprise water usage at the product unit level, which saved billions of gallons of water. For this work, I was named a finalist for the "College Entrepreneur of the Year Award," presented by UPS and was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine.
In a former life, I earned a scholarship to play Division 1 college football in the Big Ten Conference, played rugby in the Ivy League and performed stunts for a few Hollywood films.
