Victor Jablokov

In 2006, I co-founded industry pioneer Yap. What started as a simple idea to create an app to eliminate texting-while-driving on small clamshell phones, evolved into the world's first high accuracy, machine-automated cloud platform for voice recognition. After dozens of enterprises deployed its products (the most significant being Sprint), the company became Amazon’s first AI related acquisition. The firm’s inventions then served as the nucleus for follow-on products such as Alexa, Echo, and Fire TV.

In 2013, I founded Wallflower, a B2C company which developed internet-of-things connected hardware. Wallflower's vision was to reduce cooking fires started at the stove, the leading cause of residential fires. Its patented hardware device monitors residential cooking appliances and warns homeowners if they forget to turn them off. Wallflower's patented devices continue to be sold.

I hold 27 patents within the fields of material science, speech recognition, and internet-of-things.
