Until 2009 served as a GM at Cisco, heading one of the Business Units in its Service Provider group. Previously co-founded P-Cube,creating the DPI market, serving as its President and CEO up to its acquisition by Cisco in 2004. Prior to P-Cube, co-founded Pentacom (1998),a pioneer in Dynamic Packet Transport (DPT) products, also acquired by Cisco. Previously Previously created the concept and IP for one of the first Internet appliances (trademarked as iPhone), leading to the creation of Infogear (1995), which was also acquired by Cisco
Previously, served as VP R&D at VocalTec, developing the first voice and video over IP applications, telephony gateways and switches (VocalTec went public on NASDAQ 1996)
