He has lead the firm from $89 million in assets under management (AUM) in 2011 to its current $4.1 billion in AUM, while posting three straight years of a 25%+ IRR. Jensen's proprietary technology platform and his hand-picked risk management group has played a huge role in its success. nxVenture Capital has embarked on a series of acquisitions and is poised for a breakout year in 2015.
In 2009 and 2010, Troy moved into CleanTech, and was instrumental in financing many residential solar projects as well as funding startups in the segment.
From 1996 until 2009, Jensen was a industry innovator in the digital media segment, raising VC funding and launching two successful digital startups. Troy lead two digital marketing firms, and was a co-founder of an innovative ad-supported digital video syndication network.
Troy graduated from Northern Arizona University with an MBA in Finance.
