    Muse: The Brain Sensing Headband
Real-time feedback on meditation, powered by EEG.
Chief Product Officer, Asana, Sketch App, Axure Rp · I was the Chief Product Officer for the development leading up to launch of the product, and… · More through the first two years of the product's life. I oversaw the product and development teams, and worked with the marketing team to develop the messaging that would help consumers understand how the product worked and the value it offered.

I was responsible for defining and defending the product and for making sure that we delivered a product that actually did something of value for real people out in the world.

I often acted as a bridge between the technical, and research teams and the rest of the organization, translating the complicated workings of the algorithms and technology into language that wouldn't seem out of place on the shelves of a Best Buy.

I also helped with the ongoing operations of the company during the time. I handled all of the legal and finance work for the first few years, including contract negotiation and financial modelling and I helped raise and close the venture capital that made the product possible.

Muse: the brain sensing headband helps you get the most out of your meditation practice by giving you real time biofeedback of what's going on in your mind. Meditation has been scientifically shown to reduce symptoms associated with stress, depression and anxiety.

Bringing Muse Meditation into Professional Practice
SVP - New Product Development, FramerJS, Sketch App, Adobe Photoshop · I am tasked with taking our successful professional pricing program and… · More developing it into a subscription-based product that will allow us to offer Muse to a completely new market.

After learning about the opportunity and understanding the basic needs of our customers I created an MVP of a web-based dashboard where pros can view their clients data online. We went from the first sketch to the launch of the beta in approximately two months with only a single developer on the product.

I interview clients to understand their needs, do UX and UI design, build interactive prototypes, prioritize the backlog, write specifications and direct the development for the product.

At the same time I am building landing pages, writing marketing copy, and coordinating with the sales and marketing teams to get the word out about the product, and communicating directly with customers to understand and resolve their issues as they begin to use the beta.

As the product grows, I am implementing new tools to help our company better understand our customers and to adapt to the new demands that a SaaS product places on a company, and trying to build the infrastructure we will need to support a growth-marketing practice.

A subscription-based program to allow sports and performance coaches, mental health practitioners, and corporate wellness trainers to bring the power of Muse into their professional practice.
