- Performed I18N (Internationalization) validation on Android and a number of other Google products. The validation process included research, spec definition and testing in multiple languages and writing systems. This ensured correct product appearance and functionality for users worldwide.
- Investigated and reported bugs with detailed reproduction steps and screenshots, greatly accelerating fix development and verification.
- Designed own bug reporting template to produce consistent and complete bug reports.
- Authored best-practices bug filing guides for other testers to improve their I18N bug reports. One particular guide was for RTL/BiDi (Right-To-Left and Bi-Directional) bugs.
- Applied multilingual skills to identify inaccuracies in several UI languages. Proposed suitable corrections to improve localization accuracy in UIs.
- Identified new product features requiring I18N testing, and designed appropriate test cases. This ensured that I18N validation would cover all relevant features.
- Standardized spreadsheets for entering QA results. This ensured systematic test case result reporting and more consistent I18N sign-off on new product features.
- Researched and proposed solutions for culture-specific issues, frequently relating to RTL languages. Summarized international user feedback about Google products. Discussed UI and functionality modifications with developers, UX experts and product managers. These activities led to targeted product designs, which would not have been possible otherwise.
- Authored a compendium of knowledge on RTL languages (Hebrew, Arabic, others), which is Google’s most comprehensive to date. This document provides valuable practical information to many stakeholders (developers, testers, UI/UX designers, product managers).
- Contributed to test plan formulation for different components of G

I built a diversified portfolio of early-stage startups by applying a set of self-developed selection criteria.

I advise my investees and other startups on technology and business strategy issues. I have specific expertise in Globalization (G11N), preparing startups for expansion into foreign markets through Internationalization (I18N) and Localization (L10N).

While at Google, I was instrumental in launching a number of globalized products for overseas users. These included several releases of Android OS, Noto fonts and Google Assistant.
