- Improve engineering velocity and quality: mature CI/CD, raise test coverage, and streamline releases without adding bureaucracy

- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team: drive hiring, onboarding, and development and foster ownership, intensity, and collaboration
- Attract and retain strong engineers through clear standards and a strong engineering culture
Strategy & communication
- Partner with the business: translate technical concepts and trade-offs into clear implications for founders, product, and GTM
- Align technical strategy with customer value and company goals; make informed trade-offs on speed, robustness, and cost with user impact in mind
- Contribute to roadmap, technology decisions, and SOC 2 Type II compliance
- Communicate clearly with founders, PMs, design, and GTM to keep priorities and execution aligned
- Use AI to improve development workflows and productivity across the team
