I have a track record of delivering value to enterprise customers by building relationships, understanding their needs, speaking their language, proposing the right solutions and working with the best sales teams on the planet at GOOG, ADBE, DoubleClick and Efficient Frontier.
But I have built a career separating myself from the pack with last-step-over-the-line hustling. Two examples: First, on a New Year's Eve I chased down the signatory of a large deal at a Nordstrom while he was shoe shopping with his family. I asked him to drive home, sign the agreement and bring it back to me in the mall parking lot. This last-day-of-the-year deal meant even greater overachievement of individual quota, but more importantly placed the national team's results into the next band of accelerators. Second, I once raised a significant private investment from the executive producer of Seinfeld. The meeting was initiated at serendipitously-side-by-side urinals. We shook hands, after we washed them.
