    //Exit in 2014//

    We built a first mover within strategy, production and effect measurement of what is today known as “native” advertising.

    We introduced a new... more product in the Scandinavian market where we could measure, optimise and report the effect of content based marketing. Taking content from a “fluffy” activity to a hard core ROI driven strategy where we could document the return of every investment in commercial KPI’s.

    The company was sold to a large media agency.

    A tech magazine to increase interest around innovation
    A small team with a big vision. We all did everything from editorial stuff, taking photos, working on layout and general sexiness as well as sales and… · More business / product development. Typical janitor with keyboard stuff · This was back when being an entrepreneur was weird in Scandinavia. We wanted to contribute to making innovation and (tech) entrepreneurship cool.

    Aiming to create the "Wired of Scandinavia" we launched the first, and only tech start-up magazine in Norway.

    We managed to keep the venture going for one year with both strong advertisers such as Google, Ford, PayEx etc. and distribution throughy Interpress placing the magazine in kiosk all around the country. The circulation was 50 000 ex and we had 6 editions.

    About
    Achievements

    I enjoy taking a concept, team, product or company from 0 to 1. To do that, you need people energised and devoted to the journey, setting specific targets, training on core activities and facilitating a culture where people want to make a difference. You need to care about the team—really care— and be ruthless with lackluster behaviour. Understanding all parts of the business and seeing the connections is very important, so is having people that are better than you on everything they do. Most importantly, you need to understand that business is about making money.

    Money though, can't be chased; it is a consequence of competence and action. Just like running, there is no point chasing a medal. You train in order to run faster— do that long enough and you get the medal.

    Describe the most impressive thing you've done.
