Achievements
In the past fifteen years, Hooft has founded, sold and bought over twenty companies, mentored dozens of startups, and interviewed more than 500 international entrepreneurs. With these experiences and inspiration, he invented a basic model for a healthy lifestyle for entrepreneurs.
In 2015, US News called Hooft one of the most constant successful entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. He is listed 32nd on the 100% Self-made listing of Quote Magazine and made it to the top 10 listing of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50.
His vision brought him on the TEDx stage, granted him the position as Entrepreneur in Residence at Nyenrode Business University, made him mentor at Startup Weekend and NLGroeit, plus an ambassadorship at Fiat Netherlands. His moderator skills are developed by applying for several workshops at Stanford University. He was also coached by Lars Duursma, world champion in debating, and wrote columns for NU.nl for over three years.
