- Led the back-end half of the engineering team (3 people), guiding engineering team strategy, prioritization, and development processes at the early-stage startup.
- Built... more out parallel Stripe and PayPal subscription integrations and and in-app referral services to enable geo-appropriate payments infrastructure across the globe, providing the rails to expand our business internationally, the addition of the PayPal infrastructure more than 2x-ing our revenue and becoming majority international.
- Architected and implemented core product and growth functionality for Toucan's pioneering in browser contextual language learning tool. Solely responsible for planning, coding, and executing data migration of tens of millions of core user translation documents in MongoDB concurrent with ongoing live user mutations on the data, seamlessly with no downtime, resulting in Toucan being able to support richer multi-phrase and non-English language translation support.
