Achievements
As the principal engineer in a previous start-up developing a device for heart failure. I was hired to verify durability of the device on a beating heart . Since budgets were tight, I designed (3D CAD), built (machined at a local tech shop), assembled and programmed a machine to incrementally stretch a test sample and track the surface strain with software/webcam and a different machine that mimicked the surface of the beating heart. All for under $10K with hardware store and online parts.
