    A recognized leader of sales, marketing and operations organizations with a 20+ year record of delivering growth in software, products and services to retailers, e-commerce, b2b, b2c, enterprise clients and distribution channels. Ryan received his MBA from The University of Notre Dame. He lead the turn-around strategy of consumer electronics manufacturer Oregon Scientific. As President & GM of North America he led sales, marketing, product and operations teams in the development of direct to consumer, retail and product road map strategy. He was also a key leader in the successful M&A deal that led to the acquisition of their parent company, IDT International, by China's Sanpower Group.

    Mr. Else started his career in sales and marketing at Oracle and has has been successful in launching software, services and consumer products as an employee, founder, investor and inventor.

    What's something you wish you had done years earlier?

    Started a VC Fund

    What's an obstacle you've overcome?

    Turnaround of a global manufacturer based in Hong Kong that was loosing market share and had experienced significant turnover across the organization. With limited understanding of Mandarin I led the business into a successful merger.

    If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?

    I would be on a large boat in warm water.

    What words of advice would you give your younger self?

    Go for it.

    What's the most creative thing you've ever done?

    After attending service with Pope John Paul II in Vatican City I wanted to tour the Sistine Chapel. I was wearing shorts and was told men must wear pants. I had a jacket around my waist, put my legs in the arms, zipped it up and was allowed to enter.

    Those who refuse to drive slow and push the envelope of possibility.
