Roland Ligtenberg

An entrepreneur at heart, Roland leveraged his passion and knowledge of technology to become a founder of several startups in his young career. Coupled with a sense of adventure, love for all aquatic-sports, an international upbringing, and a diverse appreciation of music, lead to the founding & creation of: a scuba diving center in Los Cabos, Mexico – San Diego’s first Music & Technology Conference featuring panels & DJ events – a strategic consulting firm aiding proprietors grow their small businesses - and a hybrid factoring/VC business that backs upcoming musicians cleverly named the First Bank of Rock. Roland is currently developing and doing business development for a SDK that allows mobile applications (iOS & Android) to become contextually aware through mobile heuristics & sensor fusion in Qualcomm Labs.
